- Join Med: The Royal Scientific Society, and part of the EU FP7 JOIN-MED, organized a scientific networking event for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) researchers from Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, held at the premises of El Hassan Science City in Amman – Jordan from December 5-7 2009. More than 90 researchers and national decision makers in the field of ICT from 16 countries (France, Great Britain, Greece, Cyprus, Germany, Austria, Italy, Denmark, Canada, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco) attended the event in addition to experts from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The event was cosponsored the Royal Scientific Society, the Higher Council for Science and Technology, the MIRA project and the Jordan Computer Society.

- “EU-projects with Jordan and introduction into procedures for project proposals to EU-institutions” Workshop. Held in Amman from the 6th to 7th of December 2009 in the holiday Inn hotel. - MEDA GO TO EUROP; “Transnational Training Session on Framework Programme 7 in Amman, Jordan, October 14, 2009”VITECH consulting hosted in cooperation with Jordan’s Higher Council for Science and Technology & the Support to Research and Technological Development and Innovation Initiatives and Strategies (SRTD), a transnational training event at the Royal Scientific Society in the presence of the MEDA Go To Europe’s partners both from EU Member states and the Mediterranean region. The training focus on previous knowledge and experience in participating in EU funded projects, coming call for proposals, financial basics, international cooperation, partner search and consortium building.
