Jordan's Information Point (InP) was launched in Amman under the auspices of the Higher Council for Science and Technology of Jordan, on April 25, 2005 as one of the main activities of Euro-MEDANet project, funded by the European Commission under the Sixth Framework Program (FP6). |

Jordan's InP is structured with similar role and activities as the National Contact Points (NCPs) established in
the EU Member States to provide advice and individual assistance about EC R&D funded activities. |

The objectives of the Jordan's InP: |

To enhance Jordanian participation in the Seventh Framework Program (FP7). |

To improve cooperation in research and development through networking. |
